  • The Classical Stage takes the works of Shakespeare and his contemporaries and “while keeping faithful to the text,” modernizes the setting, making it accessible and understandable to a wide and varied audience. The Classical Stage is Genesis most successful division.
  • The Young People’s Stage Anne & Fay’s Stage dedicated to the memory of Anne Berman & Fay Tomick, two philanthropists who took a special interest in Genesis’ work, this division gives children their first experience of live, professional theatre. This division also sponsors John Stillwaggon’s Act-Out Acting program
  • The New Works Stage – The King Series named for Anthony King, one of Genesis’ original benefactors and former associate of the Manhattan Theatre Club  creates opportunities for new plays and playwrights to share their latest works with all audiences. Genesis has presented numerous new works at The Fringe Festival and other off- and off-off Broadway venues.
  • Project R.E.A.C.T. Repertory of Emerging Artists from College Theaters this project branched from the Young people’s Stage and is designed to open the door to the world of professional theatre to students from colleges and conservatories.  This project was inaugurated at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival with students from Fordham University, Brooklyn College, Yeshiva University, and Kingsborough College.
