2009 – 2010 Season Repertory Auditions
at the company’s new performance space in Brooklyn and select venues in Manhattan
2009/10 Season includes:
- GEN10: Genesis’ 10th Anniversary Concert
- Romeo & Juliet in Brooklyn (a revival of Genesis’ acclaimed production in which Romeo is a Russian Jewish immigrant and Juliet is Arab-American)
- A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens’ stage adaptation)
- Alice in Wonderland (based on an 1898 adaptation)
- And a series of concerts and staged readings
AUDITIONS: Sunday, September 20: 3:00 – 10:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Sign-up sheet available from 10:00 a.m. on both days (SPECIFIC APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST)
Please prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of a song. Be prepare to read from classical text.
All Auditions will be held at: J’s New Dance Center 7315 Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn (R to Bay Ridge Avenue; walk three blocks to 73rd Street & Fifth Avenue)
- Performers who live, work, or who were born and/or raised in Brooklyn OR speak Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Hebrew/Yiddish, and Italian STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Members of the repertory pay an annual fee of $20. Payment of this fee entitles the member to 20% off all classes and a picture and bio on the company website.
