Courteney Lynn Wilds
Courteney Lynn Wilds, Professional Opera Singer, has been described by The Metropolitan Opera’s Martina Arroyo, as possessing a solid, expressive voice capable of many colors and a talented actress with excellent stage presence and personal charisma. A critically acclaimed Verdi and Puccini heroine, she has performed with Regina Opera, Amici Opera, Hudson Opera Theater and New York City Opera. As an actor, Courteney has appeared with The Readers Ensemble Company as Mrs. Dickson in Intimate Apparel and with Genesis Repertory Ensemble in their Aria and Sonnets concerts as well as The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet. Extending her versatility to production, Courteney was the assistant director at Regina Opera in Brooklyn, NY for two seasons, has directed scenes from Carmen, Die Walkure, and Dialogues des Carmelites with The Classical Voice Company and directed Opera Manhattan’s fully staged production of La Traviata. She is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) and is represented by McFarland Artist Management International.
