Joy Donze hails from Missouri where she recently received her BFA in musical theatre from Avila University. She studied intense acting and voice for four years in Kansas City, and also completed an abroad program in Vienna Austria through Webster University. Her favorite credits include: Maria in West Side Story, Amneris in Aida, Laura in The Glass Menagerie, Bianca in Kiss me Kate, Louise in Gypsy, and Corie in Barefoot in the Park. After graduation Joy toured Italy with the ROME FESTIVAL CHOIR, and sang in venues such as the Vatican, St. Peters Basilica and St. Marks in Venice Italy. She then moved to New York city where she joined Genesis Repertory Theatre Company and Regina Opera Company. She is excited to share her talent and creativity with the community of Brooklyn and sends thanks to her loving parents who have always been supportive of her dreams.
